What types of hats do you sell?

We sell a wide variety of custom cowboy hats. You can have as much or as little input in the design of your hat as you wish. Some of our customers see products they like and simply order their size. Others want a more specific look and we help them to achieve that.

How do I Measure for a good fit?

The best way to measure your head is to place a cloth measuring tape around the crown of your head where you think the bottom of the hat should sit (ie lower forehead). Then let us know how many cm it is. Don’t pull too tight, the tape should feel like you want your hat to feel. We can also go by inches but cm are more accurate in a custom build.

How do I decide how many X's to order?

For working or outdoor hats we recommend a 7X or 10X. For a dress hat the 20X and higher are good options. This is not set in stone however. If you run your hats hard and put them away wet maybe you are a working hat kind of customer. If you wear your hat out on the town maybe the 20X, 50X or 100X are good options. Just like your cowboy hat, the number of X's you choose is a reflection of your personal style and needs.

Can I return a hat if it doesn't fit?

If your hat does not fit we can make adjustments to it to ensure it fits the size you ordered.

Does Cowboy Customs ship internationally?

Yes we do! We ship to many countries outside the United States. And we love our international customers too.

How long does it take to make my hat?

We are a small company and pride ourselves on expediency. We can ship your hat within three weeks of a finalized order.

Where are Cowboy Customs Made?

Made in Georgia. Right here in the good old US of A.

Can I talk to a human being?

Absolutely. We will take your call and if we are on the line or out of the office we will call you back. One of our founding principles is to be available to communicate with our valued customers.

What makes my hat one of a kind?

Beyond unique colors and shapes we offer many hat band options, distressing if desired and your name foil stamped in the sweatband of your hat. We can also add brands of many designs as well as your initials placed wherever you desire. Your cowboy hat will be one of one.
